Haven't really been present on here as of late, other than the occasional log-in to browse photos and delete from a ridiculous load of notifications. This is mostly because I've actually (finally) been busy - taking & editing lots of photos that I don't particularly want to, all in the hopes that it will pay off soon. is my birth month, and as of yesterday I can officially buy alcohol in the United States.
Since the previous April-dated entry lots of stuff has taken place: dozens of rolls of film have gone through my cameras, a 3-storey abandoned building explored (to be returned to soon), a Lady Strangelove gig attended & photographed, a 2000 word essay about the cultural importance of telenovelas written in Spanish, books have been read including the creepily brilliant American Psycho, a few exhibitions/competitions entered, Regina Spektor gig attended & a set-list procured, a battery grip for the DSLR obtained (as an awesome birthday present), a friend

So far:
- term 1 consisting of 5 weeks is complete;
- fortnight of holidays has begun;
- still unemployed;
- saw Massive Attack live - one of the best concerts of my life so far;
- pienso que mi español está mejorando;
- getting a cross-processed roll of Fuji Velvia back on Wednesday;
- battery charger for Orpheus is dead - so film only until I get a battery grip;
- multiple-exposure polaroids & first roll from WOMAD to be scanned soon;
